Will go on sale in the UK in March 2017.
The 2017 Peugeot 5008 that was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in September is being showcased in Italy at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show. Here are the all-new Peugeot 5008's images from the show.
Moving to its second generation, the Peugeot 5008 has adopted the new family design and swapped the typical French MPV look with that of a modern SUV. What we are looking at now, is essentially a C-segment crossover rivaling the likes of the Nissan X-Trail and the Skoda Kodiaq. With the full makeover, the 5008 has grown by 11 cm in length by 19 cm in width and has a 16.5 cm longer wheelbase compared to the outgoing model.
The second generation Peugeot 5008 is underpinned by the PSA Group's EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform) platform. It will be available with four petrol and four diesel engines with displacements ranging from 1.2- to 2.0-litre, along with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission choices. A four-wheel drive system won't be available.
Full-beam LED headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, LED ‘claw effect’ tail lights, hands-free smart electric tailgate, panoramic opening glass sunroof, 12.3-inch high-resolution digital head-up instrument panel, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and FOCAL Premium Hi-Fi 10-speaker sound system are the highlights of the 2017 Peugeot 5008.
