Suzuki has officially unveiled the 2017 Suzuki S-Cross (facelift), which will go on sale in European markets from September 30, 2016. For the Italian market, it is available in 11 variants and prices range between EUR 18,990 to 28,090 (INR 14.05 lakhs to 20.78 lakhs).

As seen in several images photographed ahead of its unveil, the 2017 Maruti S-Cross gets a chrome-finished grille with vertical slats, projector headlamps with chrome details and LED DRLs in the cluster, new bumper design with a larger radiator grille, chrome accentuated foglamp enclosures, and updated taillamps with LED lighting.
Inside, Suzuki claims to have integrated softer materials, along with piano black trim around the touchscreen display and chrome accentuated HVAC vents. Speaking of infotainment, it sources the 7-inch unit from the Baleno and Vitara, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Mirrorlink connectivity.
More significant changes have been introduced to its engine lineup. The Euro spec 2017 S-Cross is available with not one, but two Boosterjet (turbocharged) petrol options: 1.0L three cylinder and 1.4L four cylinder units. The former outputs 112 hp and 170 Nm, while the latter produces 140 hp and 220 Nm. Both engines are offered with a choice between a 6-speed manual or automatic, while the ALLGRIP AWD is exclusive to the 1.4L Boosterjet variant.
The diesel variant continues to pack the 1.6L DDiS turbodiesel with 120 hp and 320 Nm output. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or DCT, and an ALLGRIP AWD system is an option.
