Vespa Thailand at the ongoing Thai Motor Expo has showcased the Vespa LXV150 3Vie Safari Limited Edition and the Vespa PX125.
Vespa LXV150 3Vie Safari Limited Edition
The limited edition LVX150 3Vie Safari is inspired from an adventure safari in the meadows. The scooter is painted in Matt Verde Militare scheme and gets dollops of chrome adding to the classic appeal. The Vespa LXV150 3Vie Safari also gets a logo on the front apron and storage box case as proof of its exclusivity.
A range of accessories have also been unveiled which includes a helmet, bag, gloves and a key ring. The Vespa LXV150 3Vie Limited Edition is priced at 119,900 Thai baht and is available at dealerships across Thailand.
Vespa PX125
Launched in 1977, 3 million units of the Vespa PX125 were sold until production was stopped in 2008 to make way for gearless scooters with four-stroke engines. When Vespa brought it back to the production line in 2011 admitting that it had misread the market, not a lot was different from the original design.
The reborn Vespa PX125 is powered by a two-stroke mill with electronic ignition and electric start. The gearbox is a 4 speed manual unit with old-fashioned twist grip gearshifts. The Vespa PX125 gets a modern electric start as well as a kickstart for retaining the classic appeal, can run 40 km for a litre of fuel and claims a top speed of 83 km/h.
The Vespa PX125 is available in three colours, red (Rosso Dragon), white (Monte Bianco) and black (Nero Lucido), and is priced at 199,990 Thai baht.
