The latest market to welcome the Suzuki Baleno hatchback is Bahrain, where it has launched for sale at BHD 4,850 (INR 8.82 lakhs). Suzuki Auto is represented by Mohammed Jalal & Sons, with showrooms located in Sitra and Khamis.
The model on sale in Bahrain comes equipped with HID projector headlights and LED DRLs, chrome-finished door handles, roof spoiler, privacy glass, foglamps, 16-inch alloys wrapped with 185/55 R16 tyres and rear wiper. It offers a boot volume of 355 liters, which can be increased to 1,085 liters with the rear seat folded.
Inside, the Baleno hatchback gets fabric upholstery, silver accents on the dashboard, 2-DIN audio system with six speakers, 4.2-inch TFT colour display, leather-wrapped multi-function steering, cruise control, fully automatic AC, rear park distance control, keyless entry and start/stop button, six airbags, ABS with EBD and EBA, and rear disc brakes.
The local-spec Baleno is powered by a 1.4L K14B four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 94 PS and 130 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox.
In Bahrain, the Suzuki Baleno comes with a five-year warranty (unlimited kilometers), insurance, registration and choice of a replacement car if it is gone for a service.
