It goes without saying that I’m a huge petrolhead and can apparently convert all my driving emotions into words you can read.

Hyundai Sime Darby Motors, authorized distributors of Hyundai models in Malaysia, has launched the 2017 Hyundai Grand Starex Royale for sale at RM 168,888 (on-road, insurance included). It has undergone a significant facelift to the exterior for a more dynamic look.
The most noticeable change to the model known in other markets as the Hyundai i800, is the new Lexus-inspired grille with chrome inserts and thick chrome-plated surrounds, which is hard to miss. Other upgrades include a new bumper design with redesigned intakes housing LED DRL strips, side skirts, tinted taillamps, and a new rear bumper design housing a quartet of angular exhaust pipes. The 11-seater can be had in Creamy White, Timeless Black and Hyper Silver colors.
No changes have been made inside the facelifted model. As standard, the Grand Starex Royale comes with automatic sliding doors, swivel seats, nappa leather seat upholstery, dual airbags, safe drive recorder, front and rear parking assist with cameras, touchscreen AVN system and cruise control.
Powering the Grand Starex Royale is the continuing 2.5L four cylinder CRDi turbodiesel engine, which produces 170 PS at 3,600 rpm and 441 Nm from 2,000 to 2,500 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission (torque converter).
