VW India has revealed the VW Polo ALLSTAR on its website showing the various features the hatchback will come with.
On the outside, the Polo ALLSTAR will be available in the Blue Silk shade which was introduced on the VW Ameo. Other colors on offer include Flash Red, Candy White, Toffee Brown and Reflex Silver. Aside from the color, the Polo ALLSTAR also gets new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and ‘ALLSTAR’ branding on the B-Pillars.
Inside, the Polo ALLSTAR gets new seat upholstery with a contrasting stripe, a center armrest at the front borrowed from the VW Vento, rear AC vents (also borrowed from the Vento), ALLSTAR branding on the scuff plates and aluminium pedals.
The VW Polo ALLSTAR is likely to be available with 1.2-liter MPi petrol and 1.5-liter TDI diesel engines in the top-end Highline trim. Both engine variants are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission with the former outputting 75 PS and 110 Nm of torque and the latter develops 90 PS and 230 Nm of torque.
Expect the Polo ALLSTAR to cost around INR 30,000-40,000 more than the Highline variants of the standard Polo. For reference, the VW Polo 1.2 MPi Highline costs INR 7.02 lakhs whereas the VW Polo 1.5 TDI Highline comes in at INR 8.5 lakhs.
