Will carve out a niche in the Indian market.
Volvo Cars India has confirmed to IndianAutosBlog.com that the recently unveiled Volvo V90 Cross Country will be launched in India in 2017. It will sit between the Volvo XC90 and upcoming Volvo S90, and completes the flagship 90-series.
Similar to the Volvo S60 Cross Country, the V90 CC features black plastic body cladding on the lower portion of its exterior, silver skid plates on front and rear bumpers, new front grille pattern and an exclusive alloy rim design. To complement the rugged look, the V90 CC's ride height has been raised by 60 mm.
The interior, as expected, is largely identical to that of the regular Volvo V90, featuring a 9-inch Sensus touchscreen-equipped infotainment system, Bowers and Wilkins audio system, a Head-Up display, and a semi-autonomous Pilot Assist feature, the European specification.

The V90 CC will carry over the D5 AWD (diesel) and T6 AWD (petrol) from the Volvo XC90, as well as an entry-level D4 AWD (diesel) from the Volvo V90. All variants will be paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
