S-Cross now gets Boosterjet engine option.
Suzuki introduced the new Suzuki S-Cross (facelift) in Europe last month. The facelifted model's image gallery has been updated with four new images.
The 2017 Suzuki S-Cross (facelift) features a considerably updated front fascia but remains more or less largely unchanged from the other angles. The interior has been updated with new materials and a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
A welcome change with the facelift is perhaps in the engine line-up. The facelifted Euro-spec S-Cross is offered with two new BOOSTERJET petrol engines. The first is the K10C 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder unit from the Baleno, good for 82 kW (109.92 hp) and 170 Nm of torque. The second is the K14C turbocharged four-cylinder unit from the Vitara S, which produces 103 kW (138.07 hp) and 220 Nm of torque. The 1.4 BOOSTERJET model is offered with an all-wheel drive system as standard. Those looking for a diesel option can go with the 1.6 DDiS model, available in 2WD and 4WD.

The 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET engine that will make its Indian debut in the Maruti Baleno RS should be offered in the facelifted Maruti S-Cross when it launches next year. Aside from the petrol option, the S-Cross facelift for India will continue offering the 1.3- and 1.6-liter DDiS diesel engines.
