Available in five grades: XB, XE, XM, XT, XZ.
The Tata Tiago went on sale in Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Karnataka, following its nationwide launch a month ago. Starting prices range between INR 3.26 Lakhs - INR 3.35 Lakhs (ex-showroom) in the three states.
The newest hatchback from Tata Motors slots between the Tata Bolt and Tata GenX Nano, and is the only product to feature Tata's 'IMPACT' design language. Some of the exterior features include LED turn indicators mounted in the ORVMs, 14-inch twin five-spoke alloy wheels, wraparound taillamps and a roof spoiler.
Inside, the Tiago is one of the most feature-packed cars in its segment. The top-end XZ grade offers the Harman Infotainment system with turn-by-turn navigation (connected to a supported smartphone), 8-speaker audio system with USB and Aux-In slots. Dual airbags and driver’s seat height adjustment are standard in the XZ grade, and optional in XE, XM and XT.
The Tiago is available with two brand new engines: a 1.2L three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine with 85 PS & 114 Nm and a 1.05-litre three-cylinder Revotorq engine that develops 70 PS & 140 Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is the only transmission available, for now. The petrol and diesel variants return an ARAI-certified fuel mileage of 23.84 km/L and 27.28 km/L, respectively.
