Royal Enfield to introduce new colours in 2016 model update - Report

According to a report on Team-BHP, Royal Enfield has planned to change the colour themes of the classic models in its lineup as part of the 2016 model year update. The list of models doesn't include the Royal Enfield Thunderbird range and the Royal Enfield Continental GT.

The new colours could be offered in addition to the existing colour themes for some/all mentioned models.

The leaked presentation slides reveal updates only on the Bullet Electra 350, the Classic 350, the Classic 500 and the Bullet 500. It is unclear if these updates will be introduced only in India.

The 2016 Bullet Electra is seen in two new colour schemes - Meridian Blue and Marsala Red. It is currently available in Black, Silver and Red. The 2016 Bullet Classic 350 would be offered in new, Chestnut Red and Marshal Green, while the current options are Black, Silver, Ash, Maroon and Lagoon Blue.

2016 Royal Enfield Classic 500 Squadron Blue leaked
Royal Enfield is not participating in the 2016 Auto Expo in Greater Noida in February, hence these 2016 models are not to be expected at the show.

The 2016 Classic 500 would be available in a new Squadron Blue, probably alongside the existing colours which include Classic Black, Classic Silver and Classic Tan. The 2016 Classic Chrome would be offered in new, Athena Grey and Forest Green themes, while its current options are Classic Black and Royal Maroon. Meanwhile the 2016 Bullet 500 would be offered in Athena Grey, likely in addition to the Black and Forest Green colours.
