To be launched in Indonesia on November 23.
Toyota Indonesia has released a new promotional video for the brand which features the 2016 Toyota Innova in motion. The company has confirmed the world debut of the all-new model in Jakarta, Indonesia, on November 23.
The second generation Innova is going to be introduced about 11 years after the MPV came into existence. Much like the first generation version, which was first launched in Indonesia, the 2016 model too will have Indonesia as its launch market.
Underpinned by a ladder-frame chassis that has already been introduced on the 2016 Toyota Fortuner and the Hilux Revo, the new Innova will be launched with two powertrains - an all-new 2.4-litre GD diesel engine and a 2.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine, with a choice of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The MPV will be offered in three variants - G, V and Q, in Indonesia with all variants receiving three airbags, ABS, EBD, alloy wheels and a touchscreen entertainment system as standard.
