No change in powertrain.
The 2016 Honda CBR150R (facelift) has been leaked online via presentation photos, courtesy of Cicak Kreatip, which reveal 12 changes on the new model compared to the existing one. It also appears that the bike gets LED headlamps. The instrument console is replaced with a fully-digital unit.
The presentation shows that most of the cosmetic parts have been revised or redesigned, including the twin headlamp assembly, instrument cluster, rear view mirrors, fuel tank, body graphics, centre cowl, rear seat, exhaust, swing arm, grab rail and taillamp.
Parts such as the number plate hanger/mud flap, alloy wheels, fuel tank cap/lid, radiator, front fairing, and the engine, are carried over from the existing version without any change. The motor is a 149.4 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected unit with DOHC that produces 17.1 PS at 10,500 rpm and 13 Nm at 7,500 rpm.
