TMC Blog has uploaded a video detailing the 2016 Honda CBR150R, which was launched in Indonesia yesterday. The motorcycle, which was launched in the presence of Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa (racers of Repsol Honda MotoGP racing team), is also available in a special Repsol livery, which is seen in the video below.
The 2016 Honda CBR150R is priced at IDR 32.9 million (INR 1.65 lakh) for the standard variant and IDR 33.3 million (INR 1.68 lakh) for the Repsol livery. According to Honda, the CBR150R is now based on a lighter chassis and sports a new swingarm which is longer by 13 mm over its predecessor.
Designers have given the sportsbike fresh styling and equipped it with features like twin LED headlights, LED turn signals, fully-digital instrument cluster, a new split-seat arrangement, a new exhaust and redesigned footpeg.
Coming to the powertrain, the 2016 CBR150R is powered by the same 150 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine as its predecessor, but the engine is now tilted forward by 40 degrees. It outputs 18.28 bhp and 12.66 Nm of torque, and puts its power to the road via a 6-speed gearbox. It rides on 100/80-17 and 130/70-17 tyres (front and rear respectively).
