Both launch in India next year.
The Mercedes A-Class facelift and the Mercedes GLC are being showcased at the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show.
2016 Mercedes A-Class
The A-Class facelift features very subtle styling changes courtesy of an arrow-shaped front bumper, re-designed set of air intakes and a dual exhaust system. The LED tail lamp cluster is revamped and a set of LED headlamps with new LED DRLs will be available as an optional extra.
The interior gets a new multifunction 3-spoke steering wheel, a revised instrument cluster, new seat upholstery colours and trim materials for the dashboard, and an 8-inch free-standing COMAND infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink smartphone connectivities.
Mercedes Benz India is expected to launch the new A-Class in the first half of 2016, probably continuing with the CBU route.
Mercedes GLC
Based on the company's new MRA (Rear-Wheel Drive) platform and hosting the engine lineup from the Mercedes C-Class, the Mercedes GLC replaces the Mercedes GLK also sporting the brand's new design philosophy. The powertrain choices include a range of 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.
The exterior is updated with a twin-slat chrome grille, optional Multibeam LED headlamps with LED DRLs, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, roof spoiler and dual exhaust pipes. The interior is updated with a free-standing COMAND infotainment system with a Touchpad for operating the same, three silver AC vents at the centre, ARTICO leather upholstery, and a Head Up display.
The GLC could be Mercedes-Benz India's star attraction at the 2016 Auto Expo.
