Bookings underway for INR 25,000.
Ahead of its launch this month, the Maruti Baleno was spotted at a dealer yard, without any camouflage covering its name or badge. As can be seen, the bootlid only has the 'Baleno' and 'Suzuki' branding, and gives the 'Maruti' name a miss.

The Baleno spotted here is in the 'Autumn Orange' shade, which will be one of seven colors on offer. Based on the exterior, it appears to be the 'Delta' variant, which will also get the option of a CVT with the petrol engine. Since its not a top-end variant, it misses out on features such as projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, foglights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and smart entry.

The Baleno will be powered by the same engines seen on the Swift. The petrol engine is a 1.2-liter K-Series with a reported power and torque output of 84 PS and 115 Nm respectively. The 1.3-liter DDiS diesel will be available in the 75 PS and 190 Nm tune.
