The bikes will be registered with the custom colours.
A Bajaj motorcycles dealership in Mumbai is offering custom painted brand new Bajaj Pulsar RS 200. The showroom has made a matte black with yellow accents version, and a candy green with yellow touches model. Bajaj motorcycles dispatches the RS 200 only in Red and Yellow colours in India. There are reports of a blue RS 200, but that is exclusive to exports.
The dealership charges INR 15,000 in excess to the price of the motorcycle, and declares a waiting period of 10 days for the paint-job.
The Pulsar RS 200 is the flagship motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler maker's portfolio, is the fastest model and the one with the highest aspirational value in the brand. It is powered by the familiar 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with fuel-injection technology, that delivers a 24.5 PS maximum power at 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm peak torque at 8,000 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The bike weighs 165 kg, and benefits from front and rear disc brakes. The RS 200 is the first product by Bajaj to have ABS brakes, and it is the first motorcycle in India to feature a single-channel ABS (front-only).
On March 26, the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 was launched at INR 1.18 lakh for the non-ABS variant and at INR 1.30 lakh for the ABS variant (ex-showroom Delhi).
