The Bajaj Pulsar RS200, which was launched in India in March this year is reportedly slated for a Turkish launch on 15 September, 2015.
The price of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 in Turkey is reported to be 10,990 Turkish Lira (approx. INR 2.47 lakhs).
Other technical specifications of the Pulsar RS200 would remain the same as the Indian model. It is powered by the 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine doing duty in the Pulsar NS200, mated to 6-speed gearbox. The motor is capable of dishing out 24.5 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque. However, the RS200 for Turkey could get a dual-channel ABS system.
After assembly, Bajaj's local distributor in Turkey, Kuralkan Holding, is set to sell the RS200 throughout the nation, with a dealership network comprising of 128 sales outlets and 151 authorized service centres.
The Pulsar RS200 will be the second Bajaj product in the close-to quarter-litre segment there, after the Pulsar NS200. The new sport bike is anticipated to increase the market share of Bajaj in the 200cc segment, which already stands at 30 percent just with the naked Pulsar.
