Imported from Hungary, available in both 2WD and AWD options.

The India-bound Suzuki SX4 S-Cross has been launched in Japan at a price of 2,041,200 Yen (INR 10.67 lakhs) for the 2WD and 2,257,200 Yen (INR 11.8 lakhs) for the Allgrip 4WD version. But unlike in India where Maruti will manufacture and sell the vehicle, the SX4 S-Cross in Japan comes from Suzuki's plant in Hungary.

The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine that makes 117 PS and 151 Nm of torque.

Positioned as a replacement to the erstwhile SX4 hatchback, the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross crossover draws power from a 1.6-litre VVT engine that makes 117 PS at 6,000 rpm and 151 Nm at 4,400 rpm. While a report suggests that the engine could be replaced by a turbocharged 1.4-litre unit, the company is yet to announce anything on that front. A 7-step CVT does the transmission duties, while the Allgrip AWD system comes with user-selectable modes.
