Volkswagen has unveiled the fourth generation VW Caddy with a redesigned exterior, new interior, and a longer feature list. It goes on sale in Germany in June with prices starting at 14,785 Euros (INR 10.45 lakhs) for the Caddy panel van. The passenger carrying Caddy Life will also be made available.
External changes include new look headlamps and taillamps, the grille appears to have grown in size, while the rear bumper and tailgate have been redesigned. The changes continue inside with a new generation of Composition Colour, Composition Media, and Discover Media infotainment systems, and new decorative trims.
The Caddy can be specced with Park Assist, adaptive cruise control with autonomous braking, and driver alert system. The Caddy Life gets additional airbags, while Multi-collision braking comes standard.
Engine options for the Caddy include 2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engines both available in Euro 5 and Euro 6 compliant versions, with the latter offering more power. Petrol engine choices will include the TSI turbocharged petrol units in 1-litre, 1.2-litre, and 1.4-litre versions, while there's also a 1.4 TGI version available which runs on natural gas.

The previous generation (third-gen) Caddy recorded more than 1.5 million unit global sales during its production that lasted 11 years, and the company has high expectations with the new model, more about which is available in the press release below the gallery.
