Images and details of the new 2015 Mercedes C Class AMG Line have emerged on MBPassion. While this is not the AMG variant of the sedan, Mercedes will offer the AMG Line as a trim level on the regular C Class.
Exterior wise, the C Class AMG Line gets revised bumpers with enlarged air intakes and a lower lip spoiler for the front. The wheels are 18-inch AMG light-alloy rims in a 5-spoke design, and come painted in titanium gray.
The AMG Line gets the Avant-Garde grille with the Mercedes star positioned in the center of the grille. The radiator grilles are finished in an iridium-silver color and come with a matte finish.
Apart from these inclusions, the AMG Line also gets a polished aluminum window surround, a black finish for the B-pillars and rear quarter windows, twin exhaust pipes and front brake calipers with 'Mercedes-Benz' written on them.
While the engine sees no revisions to increase power or torque, a sports suspension is offered which reduces the ride height by 15 mm. Perforated brake discs and a sports steering complete the AMG Line package.
As we revealed earlier, the actual AMG variant - C63 AMG - will be announced later next year. The new C63 AMG will ditch the Mercedes large-volume V8, favoring a twin-turbo 4.0-liter engine instead.
