Mild cosmetic revisions.
Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) launched the 2015 Honda CR-V (ASEAN version) on November 25, making it their seventh offering after products like the Accord, City, Jazz, Civic, Brio and Brio Amaze, the latter two were launched only recently at CAMPI 2014.
Just like India, the Philippines gets the CR-V with two engine options: A 2.0-liter i-VTEC making 153 PS (150.84 bhp) and 194 Nm of torque, and a 2.4-liter i-VTEC producing 185 PS (182.39 bhp) and 224 Nm of torque.
The smaller engine can be had with a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission, whereas the more powerful 2.4L comes standard with the auto box.
For Philippines, Honda has retained the 5-speed auto box, but certain markets will receive a new CVT gearbox for better fuel efficiency.
The refreshed CR-V in Philippines is priced from 1.313 million to 1.673 million PHP (INR 18.1 lakhs to INR 23.08 lakhs).
Cosmetic changes come in the form of redesigned headlights with LED daytime running lights, a new Solid Wing Face grille, a new front bumper, an 8-way electrically adjustable drivers seat and a new touchscreen infotainment system.
