Indian Autos Blog is currently sampling the soon-to-be-launched Datsun Go+ budget MPV and here is a compilation of everything there is to know about the compact people mover.
The Go+ which is basically a Go with an additional row of seats. The car also derives its 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine from its hatchback sibling. The motor is capable of 68 PS (67 bhp) at 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The transmission is a 5-speed manual unit. The MPV delivers an impressive ARAI mileage of 20.62 km/l.
The Go+ measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,635 mm in width, 1,490 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm. The ground clearance and boot capacity stand at 170 mm and 48 litres respectively. With the third row down, the boot space extends to 347 litres.
The suspension layout is typical of a regular FWD vehicle with McPherson Struts (front) and torsion beam (rear). The front wheels are retarded by ventilated discs while the rear wheels make do with drum brakes. The 13-inch wheels come shod with 155/70R13 tyres.

The Go+ is available D, D1, A and T variants and like its hatchback sibling, only the top-end T trim offers power steering. The fully loaded variant offers central locking, full wheel covers, body colored bumpers, front power windows and HVAC system.
