Gets a new smart mirroring system.
Renault-Samsung have unveiled a facelifted version of the midsize SM7 sedan called the "SM7 Nova" for the South Korean market.
By the looks of it, there aren't any significant design changes in the SM7 Nova. Minor design tweaks include a bolder look that is complemented by the new grille and hood up front, and a new set of quad exhaust tailpipes at the back.
The interior remains similar except for a couple of new features that Renault-Samsung have introduced. For instance, there is the industry first "smart mirroring" system that uses a WiFi hotspot to connect all supported devices with the car's infotainment system. This feature will be available as standard across all variants of the SM7 Nova.
Under the hood, the car will offered with a choice of 2 petrol engines; a 2.5-liter Nissan-derived V6 engine that produces 193 PS and 243 Nm as well as a 3.5-liter V6 engine that outputs 262 PS and 330 Nm. Both are likely to be coupled to a Nissan-engineered CVT transmission.
The company have also divulged about looking into offering a diesel option as the "Renault Nissan Alliance, which the carmaker is a part of, has plenty of diesel units to choose from".
