A luxurious Range Rover variant.
PT Grandauto Dinamika (GAD), the official distributor and importer of Land Rover in Indonesia, expanded its lineup with the introduction of the Range Rover Long Wheelbase (LWB) at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2014 (IIMS 2014).
Priced at Rp 5.5 billion (INR 2.79 crore), the LWB offers "a superior level of flexibility and convenience in the interior to compete in the luxury car market that is dominated by a saloon car until today", according to the distributor.
The company believes that the LWB is an alternative to the traditional long wheelbase saloon car in its segment.
Introduced in India at the 2014 Auto Expo, the Range Rover LWB provides an additional legroom of 186 mm to rear seat passengers and a backrest tilt angle up to 17 degrees. Standard features here include powered rear door blinds and a panoramic sunroof.
The only exterior differentiation comes through the 'L' logo installed as an exterior accent on the front wheel fender. The Indonesian spec is powered solely by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine producing 510 PS (503 bhp) and 625 Nm of torque.
