Suzuki has launched a limited edition Suzuki Swift SZ-L Edition in the UK. Based on the mid-grade SZ3 trim, this edition of the Swift is limited to 500 units. Suzuki will begin accepting orders for the SZ-L from March 1.
Available in three- and five-door configurations, the SZ-L is priced at 10,899 GBP (INR 11.26 lakhs) for the three-door and 11,316 GBP (INR 11.69 lakhs) for the five-door model.
On the outside, the SZ-L gets a 2-tone metallic paintwork. Available in either Boost Blue or Cosmic Black body colors, the roof, spoilers and wing mirrors are painted in a contrasting White shade. Inside, silver stitching is seen on the steering wheel, gear lever and seats which also have a different fabric design.
On the features front, the SZ-L comes standard with safety features such as ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, ESP, dual front airbags, curtain airbags, side airbags and a driver knee airbag. Suzuki has also included LED daytime running lights and cruise control on this trim.
The SZ-L will be available with a petrol engine exclusively. Power comes from a 1.2-liter four-cylinder unit which produces 94 PS at 6,000 rpm and 118 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission sends power to the front wheels of the car (Suzuki also offers an AWD specification on the Swift).
