Honda Cars India will launch the all-new 2014 City on January 7, 2014. Following the global reveal held in India on November 25, Honda is yet to announce the prices for the new City, and even the number of variants and variant-wise features are unknown...until now.
Team ICE say that this is the specification sheet for the new City diesel, and according to the information present here, the new City will be available in five variants - E, S, SV, V, VX. All variants of the City diesel will sport ABS, EBD and a driver airbag as standard, while the top three variants get a front passenger airbag in addition.
The touchscreen-controlled automatic AC system will be available on the SV, V and VX models, while the E and S will come equipped with a conventional, manual system. Rear aircon vents are also available on the top three variants only.
While steering-mounted audio controls will be available on all variants apart from the base E, the 5-inch monitor-equipped, 8-speaker audio system is contained to the top V and VX models. The S and SV get an inbuilt, 4-speaker system with AUX-in, USB, FM & MP3 and Bluetooth. As a result, the reverse camera is also available only on the top two models.
The range-toppping VX gets push-button start, sunroof, smart key, chrome door handles and leather upholstery, thus setting it apart from the V model.
