The 2014 Honda CB Shine has been introduced with new body graphics and two new color options. The highly successful motorcycle retains its mechanical package.
The company says that the CB Shine is India's all-time highest selling 125 cc motorcycle with over 30 lakh units sold since its launch in 2006. The bike also became Honda's best selling model in FY2014 across the company's two-wheeler operations worldwide!
The two new color options - Pearl Amazing White and Dual Tone Red & Black - join the existing color palette which includes Black, Geny Grey Metallic and Rebel Red Metallic. The minor update is aimed at keeping the model fresh ahead of the festive season.
The Honda CB Shine is powered by a 125 cc air-cooled engine that delivers 10.26 PS (10.12 bhp) and 10.54 Nm of torque. The commuter is available in 3 variants - Kick Drum Spoke, Self-Drum Alloy and Self Disc Alloy.
The 2014 model year update comes with no additional cost. Prices of the CB Shine range from INR 51,099 to INR 54,135, ex-showroom Delhi.
In related news, Honda has just launched its most affordable motorcycle, the CD 110 Dream commuter which, like other Dream siblings, borrows its design from the CB Shine. Honda is also preparing to launch a new 160 cc motorcycle in the festive season.
