Ford India will showcase the latest model year of the Ford Figo, Endeavour and Classic at the 2014 Auto Expo next week.
A statement from the company read "Visitors (at the Auto Expo) will be greeted by a full display of Ford vehicles for India, with the Ford Figo, Ford Classic, Ford Fiesta, Ford EcoSport and Ford Endeavour displaying the latest look and feel for 2014."
The company had nothing to say on the nature of the updates, but a spokesperson told IAB this week that these models would launch through the course of the year, in a phased fashion.
The 'latest look' of the Endeavour could be the facelifted vehicle that launched in South Africa and South Asian countries last year. Featuring a Figoesque front and an all-black interior, the Endeavour refresh's previous motorshow outing was at IIMS 2013 last September.
Activities to the Classic and Figo could involve body graphics, new alloy wheels and perhaps subtle changes to the colors used in the cabin. Ford executives earlier ruled out hardware updates on older platforms like the Figo and Classic under the 'One Ford' business plan.
The star attraction at the Ford stall this Auto Expo would undoubtedly be the new global concept car, likely to be an economy family sedan of the new Ka hatchback to rival the Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze and the Tata Falcon 5.
