The Honda Dream Neo 110cc commuter bike has been launched in Chennai at a starting price of Rs. 44,319 (ex-showroom).
Honda is adopting a phased launch strategy for its most affordable motorcycle. The bike was launched on the sidelines of 'Honda Dream Carnival', a free 5-point check up camp that is taking place in Chennai between today and Sunday.
To recap, the Honda Dream Neo sits below the Honda Dream Yuga and borrows a lot of its design from its stablemate. The tail piece is the only noticeable difference between the Dream series commuters.
The Dream Neo is powered by a 109cc 4-stroke air cooled engine, also extracted from the Dream Yuga. The motor which incorporates Honda Eco Technology (HET) makes 8.5 bhp and 8.63 Nm of torque. The gearbox is a 4-speed unit that shifts in an all-up pattern and this powertrain delivers a claimed mileage of 74kpl.

With three offerings (Dream Neo, Dream Yuga and CB Twister) in the 110cc commuter category, the Japanese auto giant is aiming to post a phenomenal YoY growth of 150% in the segment!

The Dream Neo weighs 105kg and the fuel tank capacity stands at 8 litres. The tubeless tires (tuff-tubes on base variant) are of 80/100 - 18 specification and the drum brakes measure 130mm in dia.
