Detailed snaps of the ‘all-new’ Maruti Alto 800 are doing rounds on the internet.
Carblogindia.com has uploaded a set of interior photos of the car that’s been sent by their regular reader.
The interior of the new Maruti Alto 800 is a huge step up from the previous car that was designed decades ago. A very important inference we can make is unlike the exterior, the cab is not a melting pot of competitor car designs.
The dashboard looks good and sports a brownish hue with silver accents on the steering wheel, central console, AC vents and inside door handles.
The high-mounted central AC vents sits within a semi elliptical enclosure. The waterfall style central console houses an audio system and the old-school AC controls are taken straight away from the Alto.
The steering wheel is borrowed from the Zen Estilo and there is a groove above the glove box which can carry small items. The power window switches sit in between the gear knob and the handbrake lever.
The door pads and the upholstery are finished in dual tone which improves the cabin ambiance. The seats have integrated headrests but seem to have better bolstering than the original Alto.
There is provision for speakers in the front doors and the ORVMs can be adjusted from inside.
The Maruti Alto 800 will be launched soon and the price range will be around Rs 2-3 lakhs and will be positioned below the Alto K10 which will continue to be the flagship model of the Alto family.
