Hyundai calls the new Elantra as 'Langdong' in China and has styled it using Wind Craft and Fluidic Design philosophies. A new grille, bumper and fog light enclosures have given the Elantra almost a completely different character when viewed head-on.

There's no drama on the side or rear profiles (expect for the position of the reflectors on the bumper) and the interior is similar to the internationally sold model.

The Hyundai Langdong is 4,690 mm long sporting a wheelbase of 2,700 mm and is motored by engines displacing 1.6 and 1.8 liters. The 1.6L engine has a maximum power of 127.4 PS and a maximum torque of 155.5 Nm . The 1.8L produces 146.1 PS and a maximum twist force of 174.6 Nm. 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions are paired to these engines.
