As the two month long cricket season of IPL approaches, Volkswagen India stocks dealers with IPL editions of both Vento and Polo. This being the second round for the special edition, 'IPL Edition II' badges appear on the car.
Both the cars share the same add-on features which consist of the new matt-beige interior, special edition stickers on the back and side profile, split seat covers on the Highline variant, door sill on all four doors with the IPL logo on them, and the CarPad touch screen multimedia player.
The CarPad system is the latest offering by MapMyIndia. It sits on a mount extending from the driver seat’s headrest. It doesn’t just offer in-car entertainment but also guides you through the city using an intuitive 3-D map, so that you can take on the roll of a prolific back seat driver!
The Android-based multimedia pad also has a slot for a 3G ready sim card, which will let you surf the web or watch live channels, ensuring you don’t miss a single moment of the Chennai Super Kings game even while on the move!
