Bikewale reports that UM is planning to launch the carburetted variants of the UM Renegade Sports S and the UM Renegade Commando to make them more affordable.
As per the website, UM’s market research and the feedback from customers hinted at the need for carburetted models as they are cheaper than bikes with fuel injection. The brand also feels that there is potential for carburetted bikes in the market. The website reports that the carburetted variants of the UM Renegade Sports S and the UM Renegade Commando will enter the market after the 2018 India Auto Expo in February. The bikes will remain in the market until the enforcement of BS-VI emission norms.
