Priced at 347,000 pesos in Argentina.
Toyota Argentina has launched the Toyota Yaris hatchback this month. The B-Segment model slots between the Toyota Etios and Toyota Corolla, and is priced at 347,000 pesos for the single 1.5 CVT variant.
The Yaris is costlier than the base Corolla XLI Manual which is priced at 341,200 pesos, as unlike the Corolla and Etios, the Toyota Yaris is imported as a CBU from Thailand, thus being subjected to a 35% import duty. It is only available in a single variant, which is powered by a 1.5L four cylinder dual VVT-i petrol engine with 107 hp at 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm at 4,200 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT that sends power to the front wheels.
As standard, the Yaris comes equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, dual front airbags, ABS, ISOFIX child-seat points, power windows in all four doors, rear parking sensors, multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 7-inch touchscreen audio system with CD, MP3, Bluetooth, USB, SD and Aux playback.
