Toyota has introduced the Toyota Sienta for Indonesia at the 2016 Indonesia International Motor Show. It will be built at PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia's Factory II in Karawang, West Java for Indonesia as well as other ASEAN markets. The ASEAN-spec second generation Toyota Sienta measures 4,235 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,675 mm in height.
The 2016 Toyota Sienta will be available in four grades in Indonesia: E, G, V and Q. Standard across the range, is the facelifted Toyota Avanza's 2NR-FE engine. The 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i petrol unit makes 107 PS and 143 Nm of torque. The JDM-spec model is completely different in this aspect. The E, G and V grades have 6-speed manual transmission standard and 7-speed Sport Sequential Shiftmatic continuously variable transmission optional, while the top-end Q grade features the latter as standard.

Noteworthy features of the 2016 Toyota Sienta include bi-beam LED projector headlamps with LED clearance lamp and auto leveling function, 16-inch two-tone machined alloy wheels, LED taillamps, engine start-stop button, power sliding door with Easy Closer button, Optitron Combination Meter instrument panel with 4.2-inch multi-information display, dual layer dashboard with 3D panel design, auto AC, multifunction leather steering wheel, cooler function for the upper storage box in dashboard, 7-inch DVD AVX infotainment system with screen mirroring for Apple iPhone and Android smartphones and voice control and one touch tumble second-row seats.
