Ahead of its launch towards the end of this month, more images of the Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo have emerged online. MotorOctane has shared images of the exterior as well as the interior of the new variant.
The pictures appear to have been taken at a dealer yard. They reveal exterior details including a sporty body kit, blacked out front grille with TRD badging, black trim surrounds for the front fog lamps, and TRD Sportivo decals and badge. The Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo interior has been photographed for the first time in India revealing contrast red stitching on the steering wheel.

The 2.8 L Diesel mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission will be the only powertrain option the TRD Sportivo will be offered with. There will be no 4x4 available either. The 2,755 cc motor makes 177 PS of max power and 450 Nm of peak torque.
Dealers have confirmed that the new variant of the Toyota Fortuner will go on sale before the end of September. Bookings are currently open for the TRD Sportivo. It is expected to command a premium of around INR 1.5 lakhs over the standard Toyota Fortuner 2.8 AT 4x2.
