Toyota launched the Toyota Calya at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Motor Show 2016 (GIIAS 2016). Live images from Paultan give an up-close look at the new mini-MPV.
The Toyota Calya measures 4,070 mm in length, 1,655 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm. Positioned as an entry-level MPV sitting below the Toyota Avanza, the Toyota Calya falls in the LCGC (Low Cost Green Car) category in Indonesia.
The Toyota Calya is powered by the 3NR-VE 1.2-litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 88 PS (86.76 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 108 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.

The Toyota Calya is available in two grades: E and G, priced from Rp. 129,650,000 to Rp.150,000,000 (INR 6.6 lakhs to INR 7.64 lakhs). Power windows for all four doors, roof-mounted second-row HVAC vents, one-touch tumble second-row 60:40 folding seats, 2-speaker double-DIN multimedia system, parking sensors and dual-front airbags are offered as standard. Six colour choices are available: Red, Black, Gray Metallic, Orange Metallic,Silver Metallic and White.
