The recently launched Tata Tiago XZ+ has been showcased at the Autocar Performance Show 2018 in Mumbai. The new top-spec variant comes with a host of new features that enhance the premium quotient of the car.
The new top-end trim brings in a range of new features. On the outside, the XZ+ variant comes equipped with a glossy black roof and rear spoiler, 15-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels (for petrol engine variant only), body side moulding, and chrome accent on the tailgate. Furthermore, there are two new colours on offer – Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue.
The interior of the Tiago XZ+ features a 7-inch ConnectNext touchscreen infotainment system by Harman that supports Android Auto, Voice command recognition, and Incoming SMS notifications & readouts. Convenience features include automatic climate control, projector headlamps and electrically foldable ORVM with welcome function.

Mechanically, the Tiago remains unchanged. The XZ+ trim is available with two engine options - 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine that is good for 84 bhp of power and 114 Nm of peak torque, and 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel motor that churns out 69 bhp and 140 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The optional 5-speed AMT isn't available on the new top-spec model.
The new model has reached the dealerships and the first walkaround videos of the new model have started to pour in.

The Tata Tiago is the bestselling Tata car in India with monthly sales of around 8,000 units. The company has sold over 1.7 lakh Tiago’s since its launch in March 2016. Tata Motors recently launched the Tiago NRG and the Tiago JTP models in India.
