Wide range of accessories will be available right from launch.
At the first media drive, Tata showcased a range of 'TUFF' accessories that will be made available to Hexa customers right from launch. It spruces up the Hexa's rugged styling and appeals to “active lifestyle seekers” or offroad enthusiasts.
A fully-accessorized example was showcased at the venue, offering a first look at the personalization options available. Tata is offering a slew of chrome-plated accessories to add some bling to its exterior, such as a chrome line on the upper portion of the grille, chrome garnish on the headlamps and taillamps, chrome ORVM caps, and chrome door handles. Other exterior accessories include black-plastic garnish above the foglamps, side steps for easier entry, black-plastic bumper extensions on both ends and roof rails with a roof box.
Inside, customers are offered optional features such as a sunroof, heads-up display, iPhone wireless charging plate, exclusive seat upholstery, floor carpets, and gloss black trim for steering wheel.

Under the hood is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder VariCOR diesel engine capable of 156 PS at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,700-2,700 rpm. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual (base model), 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. In case of the 6 MT variant, a Super Drive Mode with four driving modes – Auto, Rough Road, Dynamic and Comfort – is equipped.
Bookings for the Tata Hexa will open on November 1 and initial deliveries will commence in January 2017.
