Gets a tuned 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine.
Tata showcased a customized version of the Tata Bolt Sport at the Auto Expo 2016 today. It was first showcased to the world at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show last year.
It is be powered by the same 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol ‘Revotron’ engine from the regular Bolt, which is tuned by Jayem Automotives to make 110 PS @ 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm of maximum torque between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox, and is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in 12 seconds.
For better stopping power, the Bolt Sport gets disc brakes in all four wheels. It also features a Multidrive system which lets the driver choose between Eco, City, and Sports and benefit from different throttle maps.
It features a body kit identical to the model showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. It gets deeper bumpers with larger intakes, 17 inch alloy rims, side intake, and a rear spoiler. The only difference is that the Tata badge mounted on the grille is replaced with a stylized "S".
