Deliveries to begin from March 2016.
Following its launch in Italy, Suzuki attempted to garner more attention towards the new Suzuki Baleno by showcasing it at the ninth edition of the Golden Skate Awards, an international figure skating organized by Riptide in collaboration with the Italian Ice Sports Federation.
Customers interested in the Baleno can place an order online at a dedicated microsite, with prices starting from 15,900 Euros (INR 11.55 lakhs) excluding IPT (Insurance Premium Tax). Suzuki also announced a limited Baleno "Web S Edition", featuring a new colour – the Blue Boreal, a red stripe on the edge of the front bumper, 16-inch alloy wheels and a body-coloured rear spoiler. However, customers can only expect the Baleno to arrive from March 2016.
The Baleno packs a 1.0-litre three-cylinder Boosterjet, turbocharged, direct-injection petrol engine that produces 112 hp and 170 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic, which sends power to the front wheels only.
