Apart from world premiering the new WRX, Subaru are also showing the Legacy Concept at the 2013 LA Auto Show. The company said in its press conference that this concept "expresses the design direction of the next generation Legacy mid-size sedan".
The production version of this concept could be revealed next year, given that 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the Legacy which was introduced in 1989.
The concept is seen in an Ocean Silver Metallic color, riding on 265/40 ZR 21-inch wheels. The grille is inspired by the VIZIV CONCEPT, which was revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March.
Moving towards the rear, the sharply cut taillights and bootlip spoiler catch our fancy. There's a lot going on in the rear bumper which features dual tailpipes, a diffuser and aluminum silver garnishes.
Inside, the cockpit sports a 3-spoke steering wheel and designers have angled the gearbox with the driver's seating position.
The only technical details released by the company are the dimensions of the concept - 4,930 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height with a wheelbase spanning 2,880 mm. The four-seater sedan will offer Subaru's S-AWD system as well.
