Powered by a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
Seat has showcased the Seat Leon ST Cupra at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The performance-oriented estate is powered by a 2-litre engine that makes 261 hp in the Cupra ST and 276 hp in the Cupra ST 280.
The vehicle is also offered with an optional Performance Pack, which endows it with the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres shod on 19-inch orange or black alloys and high performance Brembo brakes, among other features.
The engine in both Cupra and Cupra 280 makes 350 Nm of maximum torque, and comes mated with a 6-speed manual as standard.
A dual-clutch DSG transmission can be specced, too, which offers a quicker dash to 100 km/h from standstill: the Cupra 280 with DSG manages it in 6 seconds, while the standard Cupra in 6.1 seconds. The corresponding times on the manual variant are 0.1 second slower.
Bookings for the Seat Leon ST Cupra will begin in May 2015 in the UK. You can find more details in the press release section.
