The SEAT Leon Cupra R has been showcased at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is the brand’s most powerful offering. Here are the hot-hatch’s images from the show.
The production of the SEAT Leon Cupra R is limited to 799 units. The bodywork features exclusive carbon fibre details on the front and rear spoilers, side skirts and rear diffuser; wing mirrors and rims in copper and a redesigned front bumper and wheel arches. The interior gets carbon fibre and copper treatment as well, and the steering wheel and gearstick will be wrapped in Alcantara. The Cupra R comes in three colours: Midnight Black, Pyrenees Grey and the optional exclusive Matte Grey.

The car is available in two powertrain options. The 310 PS variant gets a six-speed manual gearbox, and a 300 PS variant features a six-speed DSG unit. Both variants come with the front wheel drive system. Brakes are from Brembo, and the front axle has a modified camber. The hatch is equipped with an adaptive suspension DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) and a new exhaust system as well.
