The Seat Leon Cupra 280 has been unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show with deliveries set to begin in the coming days. Order books were opened in some parts of the world, like the UK, in January this year.
Distinguishable from the standard variants by 19-inch alloy wheels, gloss black mirror housings, black exterior mouldings and frames, black roof spoiler, red brake calipers with Cupra logo, and black interior inserts, the Seat Leon Cupra is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder TSI engine that delivers 280 hp and 350 Nm of torque.
The Cupra 280 is the fastest variant of this nameplate with a 0-100 kph time of just 5.7 seconds on the DSG variant, and 5.6 seconds on the six-speed manual variant.
The hot hatchback is equipped with a DCC chassis control system that features a 'Cupra' mode which if selected will firm up the suspension.
The Cupra 280 is priced at £27,240 (28.18 lakh rupees) and the Cupra 280 DSG is priced at £28,525 (29.51 lakh rupees).
