To debut at the VAG Night tonight.
The Seat Leon Cross Sport SUV concept has leaked ahead of its debut at the VAG Night taking place tonight. The feedback on the near-production Cross Sport concept could help Seat decide if they should introduce utility vehicles in the future.
The SUV features Seat Leon Cupra's front fascia and design cues from the 20V20 crossover concept, which was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It features 18-inch two-tone wheels, silver diffuser at the back with quad exhaust tips.
Design inspiration from the Leon X-perience estate can also be seen on the Leon Cross Sport concept, judging from the blacked-out bumper, contrast skid plates, blackened side skirts and raised ride height.
Although unconfirmed, the Seat Leon Cross Sport could be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor that dishes out 290 PS maximum power and 350 Nm peak torque, or the same engine propelling the 2016 Seat Leon Cupra 290, or a more powerful engine that develops 300 PS and 380 Nm. The vehicle features a Haldex All-Wheel Drive configuration.
