The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Stealth Black and Gunmetal Grey have been launched at the 2017 Thai Motor Expo. Here are the bikes’ live images from the show.
The two variants of the Royal Enfield Classic 500 feature rear disc brake. The fuel tank, fenders and side boxes are finished in the new Gunmetal Grey colour; and the bike gets Dark Tan single seat. The Stealth Black colour variant comes with matte black finish on the frame, fuel tank, engine casing, fenders and side boxes. The matte black exhaust and bend pipe get a heat-resistant coating. The spoke wheel rims and hubs come with black powder coating. It also gets a single black seat.

Coming to the heart of the matter, the two motorcycles employ a single cylinder 499 cc engine. The fuel injected mill makes 27.2 bhp at 5,250 rpm, and 41.3 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The powerplant mates with a 5-speed gearbox. The fuel tank can hold 13.5 litres of juice, and the bikes weigh 194 kg, kerb.
Telescopic front forks and twin rear gas-charged shock absorbers hold the tubular steel frame. Brakes include 280 mm front and 240 mm rear disc. The two new colour variants of the Royal Enfield Classic 500 cost THB 196,800 (INR 3.89 lakhs).
