The next generation Fabia might bow in late 2014 but that hasn't stopped digital artists from laying down their idea of how this city car must evolve.
After the unveiling of the VisionD concept at the ongoing Geneva Motor show, one can expect the next generation Fabia's front-end to mimic the Superb's. The rear might have chunky 'C' shape lamps or a more sloping windshield. Given this is a Fabia, the design will call for generous cabin volume. Boot space could also improve on the new model.
The other expected area where things are expected to be different is the dashboard. Skoda can change the interface and background lighting. Under the hood we don't see a groundbreaking event unfolding. There will be 3- and 4-cylinder engines tuned for fuel economy. vRS variants will continue, but its prospects in India is weak.
We'll keep a close eye on the next generation Fabia. Stay tuned to Indian Autos Blog.
