Peugeot Scooters presents at EICMA 2013, the new 'Django', a model with retro lines that dates back to Peugeot scooters launched in the 1950s.
Three displacements of the retro scooter are planned for production, in two-stroke and four-stroke variants - 50cc (two-stroke and four-stroke), 125cc (four-stroke) and 150cc (four-stroke).
The Django, parked on 12-inch wheels, measures 1,994mm long, has a wheelbase of 1,363mm with a seat height of 770mm. It features a 12V power socket in the glove compartment and two hooks for small shopping bags below the saddle.
The commuter uses LEDs throughout its lighting system. The design of the instrumentation is inspired from the classic scooters, but the readouts are all grouped into a single LCD screen.
The Django would be available in 'Allure', 'Sports', 'Evasion' and 'Heritage' customization packages starting next year.
