Motor Trend reports that more than 50 percent of the Hexa bookings received by Tata Motors are for the Hexa XM and Hexa XT automatic variants. They are priced between INR 15.05 Lakhs - INR 17.4 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
At its launch on January 18, Tata Motors announced that there was a minimum waiting period of eight weeks, but current booking trends suggest that prospective buyers of the automatic variant may have to wait longer than those opting for the manual. All variants share the 2.2L VARICOR four cylinder diesel engine
The Tata Hexa XM and Tata Hexa XT get the VARICOR 400 version of this BSIV compliant mill coupled to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic unit. The engine is capable of producing 156 PS of power at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of peak torque at 1,700 to 2,700 rpm. Manual variants come exclusively with Super Drive Modes.
The top-end Hexa XT is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, 10-speaker JBL music system with a touchscreen navigation, captains chairs for the second row, six airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP and Hill Hold system.
